  1. I witnessed a conversation regarding a rescue dog (non-profit rescue, not SPCA or city shelter), about 8 months old, that was randomly biting at the couple. The vet immediately recommended putting the dog down, citing this type of un-triggered aggression versus “fear response aggression” that abused dogs may exhibit. “Some dogs are just wired wrong and can’t be fixed (like people)” was the general sentiment. I’m curious to hear your thoughts (can every dog be rescued?), and also concerned that if they take the dog back where they got it from that they will just give to someone else for rescue. If a dog is returned to a non-profit rescue place do they have to disclose any information (if the dog had been returned before and why)?
